Hello blogworld!

My name is Brianna. I’m a 21 year old college senior living in New England. I go back and forth between Vermont, where I go to school, and Boston, where my family lives. While I have always taken an interest in my personal health and fitness, since I started running again I have been more aware of what goes into my body and how I treat it :). You only get one!

My running story begins in middle school and then takes a long hiatus until my junior year of college. I ran cross-country and track in middle school, loved it but my high school didn’t have a team, so I stopped running.

I ran my first 5k (in several years) in March 2011 and haven’t looked back! Since then I’ve completed 5ks, a 10k, an 8- mile, and a 10- mile race. My most recent race was a sprint triathlon! Having goals unrelated to school has been a great stress reliever, especially at this time in my college career.

I am currently training for the Adirondack Half Marathon through Team in Training. I also have two other half-marathons on my fall race calendar this year! It’s been awesome to watch myself progress and improve as a runner.

Aside from running, I love cooking, baking, hanging out with my family and friends, yoga, biking, and living in the wonderful green state of VT!
